Gunnison Telephone Co. (Gtelco) policy regarding compliance with the Identity Theft Prevention Program
The Gunnison Telephone Co. has established policies and procedures in connection with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) 12 C.F.R., 41.90 and 41.91 rules.
A key element of the Program is the identification of “Red Flags” related to customer accounts. As used by the FTC, the term Red Flag means a pattern, practice, or specific activity that indicates the possible existence of identity theft. As part of this program, the Gunnison Telephone Co. has established a policy manual which is available for inspection at our business office, 29 S. Main St. Gunnison, Utah.
